This week Arteaga played in 3 games, two to close out the regular season against Penn State New Kensington and then one in the PSUAC Playoffs against Penn State Dubois. Arteaga had 4 hits, scoring 2 runs, drove in 7 RBI's, had 3 extra base hits including 1 double, 1 triple, and a homerun. Arteaga also had 4 putouts throughout these games. The team is finished for the season and ended with a record of 18-19 and a 7-7 conference record. Week 29 Athlete of the Week - Gabbey Flynt

This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Fourth-Year, Softball player, Gabbey Flynt. This week Flynt played in 4 games this week against Kent State Tuscarawas in a 4 game series, once away and once at home. The team went 4-0 on the week. Flynt put up some numbers in the circle, pitching 10 innings with 11 strikeouts, and giving up 9 hits with only 1 earned run. The team is now 18-16 this season with a 7-5 conference record. Their next game will be on Friday, May 2nd at 12pm when they take on Penn State DuBois in their first PSUAC conference game. This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Softball player, Kierstyn Mays. This week Mays played in 6 games this week against all PSUAC competition. Taking on Penn Satte Hazleton, Penn State Scranton, and Penn Satte Fayette, the team went 6-0 on the week. Mays had 18 hits, with 11 RBI's, had 7 doubles, scored 9 runs, 1 homerun, and 4 stolen bases. Mays also put up some numbers in the circle, pitching 19.1 innings with 12 strikeouts. The team is now 12-13 this season with a 6-2 conference record. Their next game will be on Friday, April 18th at 2pm when they take on Penn State Schuylkill in a conference game.
