Week 135 Athlete of the Week - Katie Enderle
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is First-Year, Women's Basketball player, Katie Enderle. For the third time this season Enderle has been honored with this title. This week Siegfried played in 2 games taking on tough PSUAC teams in their annual cross-over weekend. The team traveled to take on Penn State Lehigh Valley and Penn State Schuylkill. Siegfried scored 38 points to lead the team, had 2 rebounds, 1 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. The team is now 5-5 this season with a 3-1 conference record. This week Enderle played in 1 game before the fall break. The team traveled to take on non-conference opponent Pitt-Greensburg an NCAA Division III school. Enderle scored 15 points to lead the team, had 7 rebounds which also lead the team, had 2 assists, and 4 steals, while playing only 21 minutes this game. The team is now 4-4 this season with a 2-0 conference record. Their next game will be on Friday, December 6th at 6pm when they travel take on Penn State Lehigh Valley in their crossover weekend for the PSUAC. This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Men's Basketball player, Jermaine Knaff. This week Knaff played in 3 games taking on 3 tough USCAA Competitors. The team opened the season by facing off with Kent State Tuscarawas going into overtime, and then played in the USCAA Tip-Off Tournament held in the Beaver Fieldhouse against Miami Hamilton and Apprentice (the defending USCAA Division 1 National Champions). Knaff scored a total of 47 points, had 12 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals, while playing a total of 101 minutes. The team is starting their season 1-2 with no conference record yet.
