For years, Penn State Beaver has hosted thousands of childen who learn about teamwork, competition, fitness and gain or improve technical sports skills and self-confidence from Penn State Beaver's coaches and athletes.

Dates and Times are subject to change for all Penn State Beaver Athletics Camps. Refunds will be available if camp dates change and conflict with a campers schedule.

Winter 2025

Softball Academy (Ages 8-17)

Ages: 8 to 17
Dates: Session 1- Sunday's Januaury 5th - January 26th, 2025
Session 2- Sunday's February 2nd - February 23rd and Saturday February 22nd
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: Session 1- $119

The Penn State Beaver Athletic Department is hosting a Softball Academy on Sundays in January and February 2025 for players ages 8 to 17 years.

The academy will cover the fundamentals of pitching, catching, infield play, and outfield play. Games will be played each Sunday. Students will be grouped according to skill level in order to maximize training. The academy will be open to the first 40 registrants.

Welcome to Penn State Beaver Winter Baseball Academy, where young athletes can develop their skills and passion for the game during the off-season! Our academy offers a comprehensive program designed by our coaches for players of all skill levels ages 8 to 17, focusing on fundamentals of the game, beginner and advanced techniques, and competitive game play.

Sport Specific One-on-One Training

Individual Training by Penn State Beaver Coaches. Programs available for training are Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer and Volleyball. The 60-minute training sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the athlete to develop the skills needed to succeed and compete in the specific sport areas. Parents must be present during all 5 training sessions. Five 60-minute training sessions for $125. Parent or guardian MUST be present for the entire 60-minute session.

This camp is designed for softball players to improve their skills in all facets of the game, including hitting, defensive skills, base running, defensive strategies, and bunting. Baseball Camp will teach the fundamentals needed to be a successful baseball player. Hitting, bunting, defensive skills, base running, and game management will be covered. Please bring a bagged lunch. Concessions will be open at campers own cost.

Our most popular camp is back! This co-ed camp is about fun and is designed to promote fitness for life through numerous physical activities. Campers will engage in a variety of gym class favorites as well as other popular games. Bucketball, dodgeball, kickball and cornhole are just a few of the games we have in store. Please bring a bagged lunch and drink. Concessions will be open at campers own cost.

Boys Basketball Camp (Ages 8-14)

This camp is designed for experienced high school players; it is not a camp for beginners. All aspects of the game will be covered each morning through drills. Each afternoon will be filled with competitive games and drills. Please bring a bagged lunch and drink. Concessions will be open at campers own cost.

This coed camp is designed for gamers of all experience levels. Campers will play a variety of games and have the opportunity to take part in tournaments and free play. Sports, adventure, and other genres will be covered. Please bring a bagged lunch. This camp is for ages 8yrs – 14 yrs. This camp is held on the Beaver Campus in Monaca, PA 15061.
