Week 28 Athlete of the Week - Kierstyn Mays
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Softball player, Kierstyn Mays. This week Mays played in 6 games this week against all PSUAC competition. Taking on Penn Satte Hazleton, Penn State Scranton, and Penn Satte Fayette, the team went 6-0 on the week. Mays had 18 hits, with 11 RBI's, had 7 doubles, scored 9 runs, 1 homerun, and 4 stolen bases. Mays also put up some numbers in the circle, pitching 19.1 innings with 12 strikeouts. The team is now 12-13 this season with a 6-2 conference record. Their next game will be on Friday, April 18th at 2pm when they take on Penn State Schuylkill in a conference game.
