Beaver Softball Sweeps Penn State Fayette in Doubleheader For the Second Time This Season
The Penn State Beaver softball team once again swept the women of Penn State Fayette, making it four straight wins against Fayette this season.

Evan Pinchot - The Penn State Beaver softball team once again swept the women of Penn State Fayette, making it four straight wins against Fayette this season.
In their second doubleheader against Fayette this seasn, Beaver would once again dominant Fayette in every aspect possible. Winning both games without letting up a single run, the performance of the day would come in game one with Senior Natalie Larkin (Center, Pa / Central Valley) pitching a perfect 5 innings, not allowing a single base runner for Fayette. On offesne, Beaver's entire team contrinuted to both wins as well, as they would tally a 22 runs on 24 hits throughout their 10 innings played on Friday. With half a dozen players getting at least one extra base hit throuhgout these matchups, the offensive performer of the game would be Junior Sklyar Duffee (New Castle, Pa / New Castle), who would end up with the day's only home run for Beaver in game one. Without much of a fight from Fayette, Beaver would end up winning both of their games, by final scores of 10-0 and 12-0.
After their stellar performance on Friday, Beaver now holds a 12-8 record on the year. The team will return to action on Saturday, April 24, taking on Penn State New Kensington at home for a doubleheader matchup. Game one is set to start at 12 pm, with game two to start at 2 pm.
