Media, PA- The Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer team took to the road Saturday morning, heading across state to take on PSUAC rival Brandywine.
Brandywine got on the board quickly, scoring their first goal six minutes into the contest. At the 30 minute mark, Beaver would tie it. Junior Ethan Paxton found the back of the net on a beautiful free kick from about 35 yards out. The score remained 1-1 at the half. Brandywine struck quickly again in the second half, scoring the 2nd goal less than 5 minutes after break. Unfortunately, this time Beaver did not have an answer. Brandywine scored a late goal to seal the 3-1 win.
With the loss, Beaver sits at 10-4 overall, and 6-2 in the PSUAC. Beaver returns to action on Tuesday, October 19th when they travel to Penn State New Kensington. Kick off is 4 p.m.
