Lemont Furnace, PA – Penn State Beaver Women's Volleyball traveled to Penn State Fayette to play in a tough PSUAC conference match. Penn State Beaver was looking to bounce back after a loss to La Roche and Penn State Fayette is looking to do the same after a two-game skid.
Although they dropped their last two matches Fayette came into this match at 6-1 in conference play with their only loss coming from second place Penn State Shenango. Fayette came into the first set playing very well and ended up winning 25-11. In the second set of the match Beaver began to pick up their play, but still lost the set 25-16. The third set was the best set for Beaver since it was must win to keep the match alive, but they fell short and dropped the last set 25-20 and lost the match 3-0.
Penn State Beaver Women's Volleyball plays their next match at home against Penn State Greater Allegheny in their All-Star Appreciation Fest on October 12th at 2:00pm.
