Mont Alto, PA - Today Penn State Beaver traveled to take on Penn State Mont Alto in the PSUAC Quarterfinals.
After losing to Mont Alto in the last game of the regular season, Beaver was looking forward to bringing home a win tonight. Mont Alto came out strong in the first set out scoring Beaver 11-25. Beaver played hard in the second set, but could not overcome Mont Alto where they won 19-25. Beaver came out fighting in the third set and took the win beating Mont Alto 25-23. Sadly, Mont Alto ended Beaver's season winning the fourth set 12-25.
Freshman Daniela Guzman (Plainfield, TX) had 6 kills on 22 attempts, 9 digs, 1 solo block, and 2 assisted blocks.
