Lemont Furnace, PA - Today Penn State Beaver Women's Volleyball travelled to take on Penn State Fayette. It proved difficult for Beaver as they came home losing 3-0. The first set ended with Fayette taking the win 15-25. Fayette also took the second set winning 14-25. The third set Beaver fought hard but could not overcome losing 23-25.
Senior Breann King (Houston, PA) played a great game having 7 kills on 25 attempts, 11 digs, and 2 solo blocks. Freshman Daniela Guzman (Plainview, TX) and senior Ramiya White (Westland, MI) both had 5 digs. Freshman Courtney Simpkins (Columbia, MD) also played a great game having 8 digs and 9 set assists.
The Lady Lions will be on the road for a PSUAC Cross Over Event at Penn State York on October 8. There they will be taking on Penn State Hazleton at 2pm and Penn State Wilkes Barre at 6pm.
