Front Royal, VA - Today the Lady Lions traveled to take on USCAA competitors Christendom College for their first game of the season. Putting up a hard battle the Lady Lions were unable to bring home a win finishing the game with a score of 0-5. This is a starting point for the Lady Lions this season having a tough first game on the road but they will be ready to battle again in their first home game of the season on Monday, September 12th.
Senior Megan Bartley (Austintown, OH), was the starting goalie for the Lions today have 8 saves and allowing 2 goals. Freshman, Jordan Brown (Rockville, MD) played the second half in goal for the Lady Lions having another 8 saves including 1 of 2 penlty kicks and allowing 3 goals. Overall, the goalies for the Lady Lions made some huge impacts in the game keeping their team in it and battling hard.
