Winkle Named Wrestling Coach

Monaca, PA - Director of Athletics, Andy Kirschner, announced that Jeff Winkle will lead the Penn State Beaver wrestling program in its inaugural 2011-2012 season.

Winkle is a graduate of, and former wrestler for, Hopewell High School and has been active in that school's wrestling program for thirteen years. He holds a master's degree in strategic leadership from Mountain State University and a bachelor's degree in human resources from Geneva College.

Winkle believes that Western Pennsylvania and the tri-state area have "significant talent from which to draw", and he believes the program will be a great fit within the Beaver campus Athletic Department.

Winkle resides with his wife, Lori, daughter, Sarah, and sons Dylan and Dustin in Independence Township.
