Lady Lions Clinch Home Playoff Game in 71-67 Win Over Shenango

Sharon, PA- Lady Lions are able to defeat Shenango to have a home playoff game. They were off to a slow start going three minutes into the first quarter. Second-year, Emery Black (New Braunfels, TX) started things off for Beaver with two jump shots. Second-year Claudia Siegfried (Wilkes-Barre, PA) had a three to follow Black. The Lady Lions were down 33-41 at the end of the half. Black started the scoring in the third and First-year Cashimere Ralph (Pittsburgh,PA) ended things with a free throw. Ralph began the fourth with a layup. A jumper by First-year Jaden Tesch (Chippewa,PA) gave Beaver the lead and they never looked back.Second-year Taylor Woodruff (Pittsburgh,PA) got Beaver to 71 points with a free throw.

First-year Jaden Tesch (Chippewa,PA) had 14 points, 4 assists,and 3 steals. First-year Katie Enderle(Darlington,PA) had 9 points and 12 rebounds. Second-yesr Taylor Woodruff (Pittsburgh,PA) had 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists,and 3 steals. Second-year Emery Black (New Braunfels,TX) had 12 points,3 assists,and 2 steals. First year Cashimere Ralph (Pittsburgh,PA) had 12 points, 7 rebounds,and 2 blocks. They went 28-69 (40.6%) from the field  and 13-25 (52.0%) from the free throw line.
