Beaver Continues Dominating the PSUAC West with a 96-47 Win Over Penn State Fayette
Lady Lions took the lead and never looked back in their match-up with Fayette.
Monaca, PA - In exciting Penn State Beaver Women's Basketball fashion, the team has ended their first home game of 2025 with a dominating win over Penn State Fayette. Within the first half of the game the Penn State Beaver Women's Basketball team put a strong 50 points which doubled Fayette's score of 25. With First year Jaden Tesch (Chippewa, PA) scoring the first two points off a layup followed up by a three-pointer scored by Second-year Claudia Siegfried (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The next point by Beaver was a lay-up by First-year Cashimere Ralph (Pittsburgh, PA). First-year Katie Enderle (Darlington, PA) scored the first point of the 3rd quarter only 20 seconds into the quarter. She was followed up by Siegfried with a three. Third-year Sanii Poindexter-Grant (Lorton, VA) scored the first points of the fourth quarter only 15 seconds in. The final points of the game were made by First-year Pricilla Long (Brooklynn, NY) with a jumper with 30 seconds left.
Second-year Claudia Siegfried (Wilkes-Barre, PA) played a strong game both offensively and defensively, to have 21 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 steals. Along with that First-year Cashimere Ralph (Pittsburgh, PA) scored 18 points, had 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. First year Jaden Tesch (Chippewa, PA) played tough with 14 points ,3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 steals. Second-Year player Taylor Woodruff (Pittsburgh, PA) had 10 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. First-year players, Bailey Rieg (Pittsburgh, PA) and Morghan Prevost (Houston, TX) scored 8 and 5 points, respectively.
