Monaca, PA - After tonights win the Lady Lions are now on a 6-win streak and hope to continue it through the end of the season. Beaver was able to pull ahead early leading by 8 in the first, outscoring their opponents by 12 in the 3rd and finally pulling away with a 13 point win at the end. The game was key in Beaver's success to contining their streak as they will need to carry their cohesiveness and teamwork into the post season.
Leading the charge for Beaver was Senior, Mikayla Womer, who had 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists. Two more women scored in the double-digits, Freshman, Kyra Seggewiss, with 15 points, and Senior, Emily Keener, with 13 points. Another notable player for Beaver tonight was Sophomore, Caitlyn O'Hara who score 7 points and had 1 block for the women. Overall the team shot over 70% from the free throw line tonight and everyone was able to help in this team win.
