Monaca, PA---- Penn State Beaver welcomed PSU Mont Alto to the Beaver Fieldhouse on Saturday and came away with a 82-37 victory to improve to 9-2 in the PSUAC. Beaver led the enitre way, building a huge lead in the first half and came away with the win. Beaver had 42 rebounds compared to 24 for Mont Alto and had only 16 turnovers while Mont Alto had 40.
Beaver was led by senior Brittany Tomaselli (East Liverpool, East Liverpool) who finished with a game high 14 points and also had 4 assists. Hayden Kimbrough (Rochester, Rochester) scored 13 points and had 9 rebounds while Cassandra Flowers (Pittsburgh, Westinghouse) had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Katie Dennis (Hookstown, South Side) scored 10 points and had 4 rebounds giving Beaver four scorers in double figures.
Beaver is now 13-4 overall and 9-2 in the PSUAC and will play again on Wednesday night when they host Carlow University at 6pm.
