Beaver fights hard on Senior Night

Monaca, PA 

The Lady Lions take on the Grove City wolverines for their senior night in a non- conference matchup on their home field. The Lady a lions started off hot and continued to play very well throughout the entire day. 4th year, Kylie Magnotta (Beaver,PA), 5th year, Chloe Coleman (Moon Twp), and Valentina Sandoval (Miami, Fl) all were announced and celebrate for their season night. The Ladies had there last game at home and it was a very memorable and family- orientated game for everyone to remeber. 

To start the first game, The Lady Lions started off the first three innings off very well scoring. Beaver scored 8 runs in the first game but unfortunately, lost 21-8. Beaver gave up a lot of runs in the last two innings. The score was tied 8-8 going into the 6th inning. Regardless of the score beaver energy level was still high and fought in both games. 4th year, Kylie Magnotta (Beaver, PA) helped bring in a lot of runs today. She had the most RBI's of the day. Her great bunting skills allowed the team to bring in an extra 2 runs. 1st year, Kierstyn Mays (Sterling, IL) made a good hit to bring in 2 more unners for Beaver. 

In the second game, Beaver got down early to the Wolverines of Grove city. The lady Lions struggles in the second game only bringing in 5 runs. Beaver lost 14-5 in the second game. Chloe Coleman did most of the dirty work for the team finishing the second game with 2 runs, 3 hits, and 2 RBI's. The lady Lions stayed persistent and tried their best in both games. 5th year, Kylie Magnotta (Beaver, PA) had a good hit on base. Beaver unfortunately lost in 5 innings 14-5.

The player of the day is Kylie Magnotta. She finished the day with 3 runs, 3 hits, and 3 RBI's. She played her last home game and played absolutley incredible!!
