Lady Lions take on Saint Vincent on the road

Latrobe, PA- The lady Lions took on Saint Vincent today in Latrobe, PA. The lions had a tough head to head matchup. The lady lions played hard and both teams scored a lot in a two high scoring games today. After playing two games ago at Bethany, the Lady Lions are ready for revenge. Dropping both games today at St. Vincent was tough but Beaver battled and took opportunities when they came but a couple rough innings did it in for Beaver. Losing the first game 11-6 and losing the second game 13-4. 

The lady lions started the game off well, scoring a total of 4 runs in the first 2 innings. The 3rd and 4th innings were stable with good fielding for both teams. The lady Lions gave up 5 runs in the sth inning to give St. Vincent abig lead to head to end up winning. The first game was back and forth, but Beaver just came up short losing 11-6. Fifth year, Valentia Sandoval (Miami, FL) finsihed the game with 4 AB, 2 Runs, 3 hits, and 1 RBI. First year, Cassidy Crean (Wrightsville, PA) finished the game with 3 AB, 1 Run, 2 Hits, and 1 RBI.

In the second game, The Lady Lions fought hard but unfortunately lost. The Lady Lions started off the game well, but their hitting went down as the game went on. Beaver's fielding gave up 5 runs in the 3rd inning and 4 runs in the 6th inning. Leading to a hard loss. Fifth year, Chloe Coleman (Moon Twp, PA) finsihed the game with 3 AB, 1 Run, 2 Hits, 1 RBI. Second year, Selene Lopez (Simi Valley, CA) finished the game with 1 hit and 1 RBI.

Fifth year, Chloe Coleman was the Player of the game for both games today with an outstanding performace to help Beaver in their games!!
