York, PA – Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer traveled to Penn State York for their second game of the weekend. Both teams were looking for a win as the season is winding down and this is a conference match.
The match was played very well by both sides with chances at both ends. Penn State York was able to strike first just 13 minutes into the game. After the first goal both teams played strong defensively and no one was able to find the second goal of the game until York gave up a penalty kick in the 70th minute. Beaver's Logan Gabriel (Edinburg, PA) stepped up to take the kick and tied the game at 1-1 with only 20 minutes left to play. Despite good efforts from both teams to break the tie the game ended 1-1.
Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer plays their last game of the season at home against Penn State New Kensington on Oct 26th at 2:00pm. Beaver will also be celebrating their seniors before the start of the game!
