Mckeesport, PA - The Men's Soccer team was back on the field tonight for their first PSUAC Conference game taking on Penn State Greater Allegheny.
The first half of the game finished with neither team being able to score a goal. The second half started much like the first, until Greater Allegheny managed to scored a single goal at 52:13. Beaver's losing streak extends to five, and they drop the first conference game of the season.
Although Beaver lost, they did not do so without attempts on the goal. Second year Matias Garcia (Venezuela), third year Joe Saldivar (Darrington, PA), and fourth year Ethan Paxton (Freedom, PA) each took one attempt to score a goal. First year goalie Quentin Wertz (Hookstown, PA) put in work at the goal having 8 saves out of 9 shots, allowing the one goal scored this game.
