Today, Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer took on Pitt-Greensburg at Wright Field in Beaver Falls. Though the final score ended in a 1-1 tie, it showing imporvement for the Men's Soccer team as their record sits at 0-2-1 before their first conference game.
In the first half of the game, Pitt-Greensburg scorded the first goal at 33:25. Beaver fought hard keeping Pitt-Greesnburg from scoring for the rest of the half and well into the second half. Then, with just under ten minutes reamining in the game (84:36), Senior Ethan Paxton (Freedom, PA) scored the tying goal. Beaver could not overcome the tie to win the game, but fought hard in the last five and a half minutes.
