MEDIA, Pa.— In Saturday afternoon showdown between the two undefeated in the PSUAC conference, the Penn State Beaver men's soccer team was the one to fall in the tough contest against PSUAC Brandywine, 1-0.

Senior John Valiga (Ambridge) finished with two shots and two on goal, while senior Darrion Gilmore (New Brighton) finished with one shot, and senior Romaine Thompson (Philadelphia/Penn Wood) finished with two shots and one on goal.
At the net, freshman Julian Hauff (Frederick/Governor Thomas Johnson) goaltended for 90 minutes, allowed one goal and had six saves against the five SOG he faced.
Beaver is now at a 9-4 overall record and drops to fourth in PSUAC rankings (5-1).
The Lions will travel to face off against Penn State New Kensington in their first of three final PSUAC matches for the regular season this Wednesday, Oct. 16. Game time is at 4 p.m.
