Worthington-Scranton Breezes Past Beaver
Beaver loses final home game of the season
Unionville, PA- Penn State Beavers Mens Soccer Team (2-15, 2-6 PSUAC) played their last home game of the season this year against Penn State Worthington-Scranton, losing 3-1.
The game was delayed 10 minutes due to a muddy field. But that didn't stop Scranton who came out aggressive. Cody Killmeyer (Langley/Pittsburgh, PA) had 13 saves but it wasn't enough as Beaver would be down 2-0 at the half.
In the second half, Scranton scored their third goal in the first six minutes. For the rest of the afternoon Killmeyer had 8 saves and Desmond Amberetu (Bowie/Bowie, MD) had the only goal resulting in Beaver losing 3-1.
