Beaver Drops Doubles Match to Penn State New Kensington

New Kensington, PA - Beaver traveled on the road to take on the Lions of Penn State New Kensington. This was Beaver's first conference game of the season, where their opponents proved to be a tough match up. The game slipped away early for Beaver as they went down 11-0 after 2 innings. Beaver then responded with 3 runs of their own, started off by Second-year Ryan Coulombe (Easton, PA), followed by Third-year Nicholas Campbell (Lewes, DE), and finished off by First-year Benjamin Ogle (East Berlin, PA). Beaver would score 2 more runs to New Kensington's 4 in the 5th inning. The game would end soon after in a mercy rule. The 2nd game would see a similar outcome with Beaver losing 14-4.
