Last home game of the 2024 season for Baseball

Penn State beaver took on Penn state Dubois in a doubleheader matchup on their home field today. Beaver is searching for 2 wins today after losing to Penn State Dubois yesterday 15-0 and 11-1. Beaver hosted their Senior night ceremony today for 4th year player, Ricardo Elizondo (Los Angeles, CA). Ricardo Elizondo started off the first four innings on the mound for the first game and was getting cheers from the crowd left and right. The team was hyped for their senior and wanted to get a huge W for the last time they took the field this year.

In the first game, Beaver had a great first inning. 4th year, Ricardo Elizondo (LosAngeles, CA) pitched well and allowed 0 bases and runs in the first inning getting the crowd hyped up, Unfortunately, Dubois rallied up a total of 11 runs in the 2nd and 3rd inning. First year, Jake Burke (Lakeport, CA) made a good hit in the seconnd inning. First year, Brayden Loucks (Krum, Tx) made a hit as well to bring in First year, Jake Burke (Lakeport, CA) home. These two freshman stepped up in the first game and both got a good hit in today helping their team get on the board. Beaver stuggled later in the innings. They had a tough loss in the first game losing 13-1.

In the second game, Beaver struggled to get on the board. Beaver gave it their all today and throughout the entire season. Hits were hard to come by. beaver started to get some hits lte in the 6th inning. 1st year, Ryan Couloumbe (Easton, PA) gave Beaver some life in the 6th inning with a single. Also, 1st year, Justin Lambert (Urhichsville, OH) also made hit in the 6th inning to help beaver create some traction. Beaveer ended up losing in a hard fought batlle 10-0.

The Player of the game for the day is jake Burke. He finished the day with 1 hit and 1 run. He was a huge reason Beaver got a run today!!
