The starting pitcher for Beaver was Tyler Schuster (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls High School) who went five and one-third innings, giving up two earned runs on two hits and striking out eight. The Beaver bats were held to only seven hits in the game, including two from both Mike Karas (Imperial, West Allegheny) and Garrett Covalt (Aliquippa, Hopewell).
