Beaver ends spring trip with a loss
Rochester College beats Beaver 9-3

In Vero Beach Florida, Beaver lost the final game of their spring trip, losing to Rochester College 9-3. Beaver's losing pitcher was Tyler Schuster (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls High School) who went three and one third innings, giving up 6 earned runs and striking out three. The Beaver offense struggled in this contest, only having five hits in the game. Andrew DiPietrantonio (Beaver, Beaver High School) had two hits and scored a run. Beaver scored one in the first inning when Garrett Covalt (Aliquippa, Hopewell High School) scored on a Grant Scott (Sewickley, Ann Arbor Pioneer High School) fielder's choice. They scored again in the fourth when Scott doubled and eventually scored on an error and again in the seventh inning when DiPietrantonio scored on a Mike Karas (Imperial, West Allegheny High School) RBI single.
Beaver ends their spring trip with an overall record of 3-4 and are scheduled to play Wednesday against Point Park University.
