Williamsport, PA - The Penn State Beaver baseball team won both games of its double-header against the Penn College Wildcats on Apr. 4 by the scores of 13-2 and 3-2.
In the first game, Beaver ten-runned Penn College. By the sixth inning, the Lions already had 13 runs, and although the Wildcats scored two that inning, it was not enough.

At bat, three Lions had two or more hits: Freshman Markus Allen (Uniontown High School/New Castle, PA) had 2, Senior Cody Moldovan (Lincoln High School/Ellwood City, PA) had 3, and Freshman Tom Lewis (Hopewell High School/Hopewell, PA) had 4. The three combined for 7 RBI's.
In the second game, Beaver was up 3-1 in the 4th inning, and was able to stop Penn College from scoring until the 7th inning, when the Wildcats scored one run.
Beaver's Ron Wilkins was the winning pitcher. Senior Ryan Raraigh (Riverside High School/Fombell, PA) had two hits, and Frederick had a double, one stolen base and two runs.
With the wins, the Lions are now 7-9 overall and 3-3 in the PSUAC. The team returns to the field on Sat. April 10 at La Roche College at 1 p.m.
