Bio

A native of Pittsburgh, PA and a graduate of Perry Traditional Academy, Korey attended Penn State Beaver from 2009 to 2013. 

She played softball for four seasons as a pitcher and third-baseman.

From the circle she boasts a career ERA of 2.58 with 453 strikeouts and 55 wins, which are all current Penn State Beaver school records. She was just as dominant on the offensive side of the ball batting over .400 in her senior season with 24 career homeruns, another Penn State Beaver school record.  

Her efforts on the field earned her three USCAA All-American awards (2011, 2012, 2013), three PSUAC All-Conference Awards (2011, 2012, 2013), two Pitcher of the Year awards (2012, 2013) as well as being named USCAA Player of the Week 4 times in her career and PSUAC Player of the Week and/or PSUAC Pitcher of the Week 9 times.  

Korey also helped lead her team to back-to-back PSUAC Championships in 2012 and 2013. 

Korey graduated in 2013 with a degree in Administration of Justice.
