Coach held many positions here at Penn State Beaver. He was the cross country coach for six years, athletic director for ten years, a kinesiology professor, but it was his 26 years as head men’s baseball coach that Jim Karwoski is best known for.

During his coaching career, he was named Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference Coach of the Year 16 times, Westen Pennsylvania Collegiate conference Coach of the year, and Region XX coach of the year four times.  His teams won the CCAC Conference title 16 times and competed in the NJCAA world series multiple times.  He has already been inducted to the both the Beaver County Hall of Fame and the NJCAA Hall of Fame, and now, the Penn State Beaver Hall of Honor.
