Bio

Bill was an associate professor of Kinesiology, teaching a variety of physical education courses starting in 1971.  Meacci coached a variety of intercollegiate sports here at Beaver; he coached wrestling, soccer, softball, but most notably golf.  Meacci’s golf program had players and teams compete year in and year out for the NJCAA National Title.  Coach Meacci’s team won the WPCC in 1991, the PCAA in 1985, and the CCAC in 1995, 96, 97, and 98.  In 1998, the team finished third in the NJCAA National Tournament.

He was named Western Pennsylvania Golf Coach of the Year in 1985, 1991 and 1992 and was the NJCAA Regional Golf Coach of the Year in 1986.  

Bill worked at Beaver for almost 30 years, before retiring in 1999.
