Week 22 Athlete of the Week - Katie Enderle
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is First-Year, Women's Basketball player, Katie Enderle. This week Enderle played in 3 games during the most cruical time for Beaver. All 3 games the team had were playoff games, 1 at home, 1 on the road, and the Championship game at the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park. The team took on Penn State DuBois in the Quarter-Finals of the PSUAC Playoffs in the Beaver Fieldhouse, then they took on Penn State Shenango in the Semifinal game on the road, and finally took on Penn State Schuylkill for the Championship. Enderle scored 48 points, had 33 rebounds, had 9 assists, 8 steals, and 3 blocks. Enderle added two more double-doubles to her impressive record already bringing her to 6 on the season. Enderle helped the team bring home another PSUAC Championship and made the National Tournament going in as the 6th seed. The team is now 19-9 this season with a 13-4 conference record. Their next game will be on Wednesday, March 12th at 3:45pm when they take on Miami-Hamilton at the USCAA National Tournament. Week 21 Athlete of the Week - Jermaine Knaff
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Men's Basketball player, Jermaine Knaff. This week Knaff played in 2 games for Beave both games against PSUAC competition and split time on the road and at home. The team took on Penn State DuBois in the Beaver Fieldhouse, and Penn State Shenango on the road. Knaff scored 36 points, had 11 rebounds, had 1 assist, and 3 steals.The team is now 10-17 this season with a 7-10 conference record. Their next game will be on Monday, February 24th at 6pm when they take on Penn State Du Bois on the road in the PSUAC Quarterfinal game. Week 20 Athlete of the Week - Trevor Franklin
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Third-Year, Men's Basketball player, Trevor Franklin. This week Franklin played in 2 games, during a split week for Beaver. The team played both games against PSUAC competition and split time on the road and at home. The team took on Penn State Fayette on the road, and Penn State Greater Allegheny in the Beaver Fieldhouse. Franklin scored 32 points, had 15 rebounds, had 3 assists, and 2 steals. Franklin had his first double-double of the season against Penn State Fayette, scoring 17 points and bringing down 11 rebounds. The team is now 10-14 this season with a 7-8 conference record. Their next game will be on Tuesday, February 18th at 8pm when they take on Penn State Du Bois in the final regular season home game and another PSUAC match-up. This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is First-Year, Men's Basketball player, Ronyell Coston. This week Coston played in 2 games and had a lot of firsts this week. The team played both games in the Beaver Fieldhouse and snapped their losing streak in the PSUAC. The team took on Penn State Shenango, and Penn State New Kensington both PSUAC West Competitiors. Coston scored 25 points, had 16 rebounds, had 4 assists, and 2 steals. Coston had his first career double-double in their game against Penn State Shenango, scoring 13 points and bringing down 10 rebounds. The team is now 9-13 this season with a 6-7 conference record. Their next game will be on Tuesday, January 11th at 8pm when they travel take on Penn State Fayette in another PSUAC match-up. Week 18 Athlete of the Week - Emery Black
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Women's Basketball player, Emery Black. This week Black played in 2 games, both on the road with one non-conference game and one conference game. The team took on California University of Pennsylvania in a non-conference game, and Penn State New Kensington in a PSUAC West match-up. Black scored 23 points, had 14 rebounds, had an impressive 11 assists, and 3 steals. The team is now 10-6 this season with a 7-1 conference record. Their next game will be on Saturday, January 25th at 1pm when they return to the Beaver Fieldhouse for another PSUAC match-up against Penn State Fayette and the first 3's For THON date this year.. This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Women's Basketball player, Claudia Siegfried. This week Siegfried played in 1 game against a PSUAC East competitor and her hometown team. The team took on Penn State Wilke-Barre and had an amazing win, beating them by 31 points. Siegfried led the team by scoring 19 points, had 2 rebounds, had 1 assists, and 1 steal. She want 2-2 from the free throw line, 5-6 from 3-point range, and 6-9 from field goal range. The team is now 9-5 this season with a 6-1 conference record. Their next game will be on the road again when they travel to take on California University of Pennsylvania on Monday, January 20th at 1pm. Week 16 Athlete of the Week - Alex Green
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Second-Year, Men's Basketball player, Alex Green. This week Green played in 1 game after returning from the holiday break. The team took on the Community College of Beaver County in the Beaver County brawl hosted at CCBC. Green scored 21 points, had 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals.Green helped lead the team to a 83-73 win and went 5-10 from the free throw line, 2-4 from 3-point range, and 7-17 from field goal range. The team is now 7-8 this season with a 4-2 conference record. Their next game will be on Friday, January 17th at 8pm when they travel take on Penn State Wilkes-Barre in another PSUAC match-up.
