Bio

Coach Maxine Neiberg will enter her first season has head coach for Penn State Beaver Volleyball in the 2024 season. Coach Neiberg has been in the Volleyball community since she was a player in middle school. Coach Neiberg has been a coach for the past 8 years, with 2 of those seasons being through her club team, Renaissance, a Pittsburgh Club Volleyball organization. Coach Neiberg has personal experience playing in college going to George Mason University and transfering to California University of Pennsylvania to finish out her career. 

Coach Neiberg is extremely talented and helped her college team Cal U go to the NCAA DII Final Four Match in 2000. She brings a lot to the table and will be bring a lot of positivity to the gym. Some of her biggest influences she brings to her gym is integrity and positivity, which is what she will use to drive hard work and success. Coach Neiberg is all about fundamentals and bringing the fun back into the gym, she will bring a new life to Penn State Beaver Volleyball.

Outside of the gym Coach Neiberg likes to spend time with her family and watch her daugther play volleyball. If she isn't in the gym you can catch her watching True Crime shows on TV and reading. Coach Neiberg can also be known as Professor Neiberg, teaching Forensics and Anthropology her at Penn State Beaver, Neiberg is currently a Forensic Anthropologist.

Coach Nieberg likes to say her favorite quote because it holds so true "If you keep looking in the rearview, you'll never see the road ahead". Coach Neiberg is excited to begin a new season with Beaver and is looking to improve on past seasons in a multitude of different ways.
