Lemont Furnace, PA - The Volleyball Team was back in action taking on Penn State Fayette for another conference match-up. This game was a close one, but overall Fayette came out victorious and sent Beaver home with their second loss in a row. 
 
The first set was in Fayettes favor as they closed it out with a 25-18 win. Beaver came back fighting in the second set getting a 25-16 win over Fayette. Beaver struggled in the third set, and Fayette came out on top with a 25-15 win. The fourth set remained very close, but in the end Beaver won 25-23 and forced a fifth set. The last set also remained very close, but in the end Fayette was victorious defeating Beaver 16-14. Beaver traveled home with a tough 3-2 loss against Fayette. 
 
Third year Lanie French (Beaver, PA) claimed player of the game finishing with 1 kill, 5 assists, 2 aces, and 22 digs. First year Sofia Perez (Bogota, Columbia) played another great game finishing with 15 kills, 7 digs, and 1 block. Second year Courtney Simpkins (Palm Bay, FL) finished with 18 assists and 23 digs. Third year Maria Matts (Pittsburgh, PA) finished with 9 assists and 10 digs. First year Zoie Reid (Salem, OH) finished with 7 kills, 2 digs, and 2 blocks. Second year Daniela Guzman (Plainview, TX) finished with 4 kills, 8 digs, and 1 block.
