Monaca, PA - Today Penn State Beaver's Lady Lions were at home taking on Butler County Community College. Beaver fought hard today but could not take the win. In the first set, Butler County CC took the win 25-17. Butler took the second set 25-18. Beaver fought hard in the third set winning 25-20. Sadly, they least the last set in a close one 25-21.
Senior Breann King (Houston, PA) played a great game having 13 kills on 44 attempts, 3 blocking assists, and 7 digs. Freshman Daniela Guzman (Planview, TX) also played a great game having 10 kills on 33 attempts, 1 solo block, 1 blocking assist, and 5 digs. Senior Ramiya White (Westland, MI) had 6 kills on 24 attempts, 1 solo block, and 1 blocking assist. Senior Jakelia Baker (Augusta, GA) played some great defense having 4 solo blocks and 2 blocking assists.
