Lady Lions fall to Brandywine in the Semifinals of PSUAC Playoffs

State College, PA - Beaver traveled to Rec Hall at Penn State University to face Penn State Brandywine in the Final 4 of the PSUAC playoffs.

The Lady Lions of Beaver ended their long and successful season Saturday afternoon after being defeated bty Brandywine in 3 sets. Beaver played each set like it was thier last, hoping to advance on to the final game. However, Beaver were unable to pull through, coming close to a win in the second set only losing 25-20. Depsite the loss, Beaver had a very successful season beng 17-11 overall and 13-3 in the PSUAC.

Each player accomplished a lot this past season. One being, sophomore Jenna Petrucci (New Castle, PA/ Shenango) with an over 219 kills on the season. Freshman Brenda Martinez (El Centro, CA/ Southwest) has a staggering 566 assists all season. Every player on the team was successful and had thier own accomplishments on the season. 

Beaver are now looking towards next season, only losing one player, senior Miranda Pfeiffer (Freedom, PA/ Freedom). Hopefully coming back with almost the same team as this past season, the next one should be another full of more success.
