Monaca, PA--- Penn State Beaver took on #1 seed Penn State Fayette this afternoon.
Penn State Beaver didn't play their best game this afternnon. The Lady Lions couldn't create alot of opporunities for kills. Beaver lost their first set 25-8 and the second 25-9. In their last set Beaver started getting kills and communicating more but it still wasn't enough to get the win over Fayette losing 25-16.
Ryanne "Roxy" Kie (Laguna, NM / Laguna Acoma) had 3 kills and 2 aces. Natalie Gamble (Mckees Rocks, Pa/Sto-Rox) had 3 kills and led the team with 12 digs. Brittany Davids (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk), Julianna Kon (Hopewell, PA / Hopewell), and Gabriella Disla (San Juan, PR / La Piedad) had 1 ace.
Beaver's next game is October 8th against rival Penn State Greater Allgheny at 7 p.m.
