Penn State Beaver wins a double header!!!!

Wilkes Barre, PA--- Penn State Beaver played a double header where they faced Penn State Wilkes Barre first. Throughout the match Beaver played fantastic while winning each set with their firepower offense and great defense. Beaver played very well through the match showing no sign of letting up on their opponent. Beaver felt really comfortable through out the game by winning their first two sets by 21 total points. Beaver had 23 kills on the match. Senior Natalie Gamble (McKees Rocks, Pa/ Sto-Rox) led the team with 11 kills. Beaver also had 14 aces on the match .

Penn State Beaver played Penn State Worthington Scranton in the second game of the double header. Penn State Beaver outscored their opponent by 10 or more points each set. Beaver carried their momentum from the earlier game against Wilkes Barre. Beaver just completly dominated the game and won their second match 3-0.  Beaver had a total of 23 kills on the afternoon. Senior Natalie Gamble (Mckees Rocks, PA/Sto-Rox) led with 11 kills, freshman Ryanne "Roxy" Kie (Laguna, NM/Laguna Acoma) 4 kills, sophmore Brittany Davids(Beaver Falls, Pa/ Blackhawk) 3 kills, freshman Julianna Kon (Hopewell, Pa/Hopewell) 3 kills, junior Miranda Pfeiffer (Freedom, PA/Freedom) 2 kills.

Beaver's next game is September 28th for another double header against Penn State Hazelton, and Penn State Lehigh Valley
