Lady Lions Sweep Schuylkill

New Kensington, PA - The Penn State Beaver Lady Lions (5-7, 4-2 PSUAC) downed Penn State Schuylkill (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in straight sets (25-13, 25-5, 25-12).

Beaver dominated Schuylkill throughout as they never trailed in any set.

In the victory, Beaver's Ella Epps (Penn Hills/Pittsburgh, PA) led the team with 11 kills. She also added 7 digs. Freshman Rachel Grubbs (Freeport/Sarver, PA) had 17 assists, 9 digs, 1 block and 4 aces, to lead the team in each category.

Beaver will face Penn State Brandywine (Media, PA) in the second match of the day at 12 p.m. at Penn State New Kensington.
