Beaver Sweeps Greater Allegheny

Monaca, PA - The Penn State Beaver volleyball team took its PSUAC record to 7-3 after defeating Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Beaver won the match in three sets, allowing Greater Allegheny to score only four points per set in the first two. In the third set, Greater Allegheny went on a run to cut its deficit, but Beaver still took a commanding 25-9 victory.

Beaver was led by Kellie Karasack (Seneca Valley High School/Cranberry Township, PA) who had 20 assists for the game and Kayla Helble (Western Beaver High School/Industry, PA) who had seven kills. 

On Saturday, Oct 9, Beaver will host a double match-up when they take on Penn College at 1 p.m. and Penn State Hazleton at 3 p.m.
