Beaver drops to DuBois in four sets

Monaca, PA - The Penn State Beaver volleyball team lost to Penn State DuBois on Wednesday in four sets.
After losing the first two sets, Beaver came back with a 25-15 win in the third to stay alive. However, in the last set, the team came up short three points, and DuBois took the 3-1 victory.
Khalihia Hines (Aliquippa/Aliquippa, PA) and Kayla Helble (Western Beaver/Industry, PA) each had five digs for the Lady Lions.
Kellie Karasack (Seneca Valley/Cranberry Twp., PA) contributed 25 assists, and Heather Sandusky (New Brighton/New Brighton, PA) added 12 kills in the effort.
Next, the team travels to compete with the No. 1 team in the PSUAC - Penn State Fayette - on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.
