Lady Lions Volleyball Team Loses to La Roche

Pittsburgh, PA - On Wednesday, Sept. 8, the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions volleyball team traveled to take on the La Roche College Lady Redhawks, but fell to their host in three sets, 25-20, 28-26, and 25-19.

Beaver senior Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School, New Brighton, PA) led the Lions in kills while freshman Kellie Karasack (Seneca Valley High School/Cranberry Township, PA) led in assists and digs.

Beaver is 0-4 in the season and will return to La Roche on Saturday, Sept. 11 when they take on the Lady Redhawks, the Carlow University Celtics, and the Chatham University Cougars in the La Roche Quad. Saturday's first match begins at 11 a.m.
