Volleyball Splits Again

Schuylkill Haven, PA - On Sunday, Sept. 19, the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions volleyball team split a tri-match at Penn State Schuylkill, defeating Schuylkill, 3-0, but falling to Penn State Brandywine, 3-0.
In the first game, Beaver swept Schuylkill in three sets, bumping the team's record to 5-8 overall and 4-1 in the PSUAC. Senior Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School/New Brighton, PA) had a game high of 12 kills and nine digs, and sophomore Kellie Karasack (Seneca Valley High School/Cranberry Township, PA) had 25 assists.
In the second game, Beaver lost to Brandywine in three sets. Sandusky contributed 15 kills and eight digs, and Karasack added eight assists for the Lady Lions, who are now stand at 4-2 in the PSUAC.
On Tuesday, Sept. 21, Beaver returns to the court when they travel to take on Penn State New Kensington at 7 p.m.
