Lady Lions Defeat Brandywine

Monaca, PA - On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions volleyball team won its third consecutive conference match vs. Penn State Brandywine, 3-0, at home.

Set scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-16. Junior Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School, New Brighton, PA) led the Lions with 16 kills. Senior Jen Hain (Northgate High School, Pittsburgh, PA) contributed 21 assists and junior Liz Hain (Northgate High School, Pittsburgh, PA) earned 14 digs.

The Lady Lions are 11-3 in the PSUAC and 12-10 overall. On Saturday, Oct. 17 Beaver will travel to Penn State DuBois for a 2 p.m. match and the last game of the season.
