Lady Lions Fall to Franciscan

Monaca, PA - Beaver lost its second game of the tri-match against Franciscan University, 3-0.

All three sets were close, but the Lions lost 18-25 in the first set, and 19-25 in the last two sets.

Junior Heather Sandusky (New Brighton/New Brighton, PA) led the Lions with 14 kills. Senior Jen Hain (Northgate/Pittsburgh, PA) had 15 assists, and Freshman Shannon Faix (Brentwood/Pittsburgh, PA) added 10 digs.

The Lions are now 11-10 overall and 10-3 in the PSUAC. On Saturday, Oct. 10th, at 2 p.m. Beaver returns to PSUAC play vs. Penn State Brandywine in a home match.
