Beaver Lady Lions Fall to Franciscan's Lady Barons on the Road

Stuebenville, OH - In their first away match, the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions volleyball team dropped a three-game match to Franciscan University of Steubenville, 25-8, 25-16, and 25-14.

In the loss, senior Jen Hain (Northgate High School, Pittsburgh, PA) had 11 assists, junior Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School, New Brighton PA) had 8 kills, and sophomore Katie Landis (Rochester High School, Rochester, PA) added 7 digs. 

The Lady Lions are now 0-0 in the PSUAC and 1-3 overall. Their next match will be Friday, Sept. 4 at the La Roche College Tournament. Time will be announced.
