Beaver Finishes Third in PSUAC

On Sunday, Oct. 19 the Penn State Fayette volleyball team defeated the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions in the PSUAC semifinal game. Fayette took the sets at 25-16, 25-11, and 26-24.

Beaver's Lady Lions were led by sophomore Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School, New Brighton, PA) with 10 kills, junior Jen Hain (Northgate High School, Pittsburgh, PA) with 14 assists, and freshman Katie Landis (Rochester High School, Rochester, PA) with 15 digs.

Beaver will close their season on Wednesday, Oct. 22 when they travel to Steubenville, Ohio to face the Franciscan University Lady Barons in a non-conference match at 7:30 p.m.
