Lady Lions Advance to PSUAC Semifinals

On Sunday, Oct. 18 the #4 seed Penn State Lady Lions volleyball team defeated #5 seed Penn State York in the first match of the PSUAC Tournament hosted by Penn State Fayette. 

Beaver won three sets, 25-19, 26-24, and 25-19.

Sophomore Heather Sandusky (New Brighton High School, New Brighton, PA) led Beaver with 13 kills. Junior Jen Hain (Northgate High School, Pittsburgh, PA) finished with 25 assists and junior Katie Landis (Rochester High School, Rochester, PA recorded 10 digs.

With the win, Beaver advanced to the PSUAC semifinals which will be held Sunday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at Penn State Fayette. Beaver will face Fayette, which is currently the #1 seed.
