Grove City Defeats Beaver

On Thursday, Oct. 16 the Grove City College Wolverines hosted and defeated the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions volleyball team, 3-0, in a non-conference match. Beaver is now 19-10 overall.

Grove City won the sets 25-10, 25-18, and 25-16.

Beaver sophomore Heather Sandusky (New Brighton, PA) recorded 8 kills and 15 digs. Junior Jennifer Hain (Pittsburgh, PA) led the team with 13 assists.

The Lady Lions will return to conference play on Saturday, Oct. 18 when they take on #5 seed Penn State York in the PSUAC tournament at Penn State Fayette.  Game time is 12 p.m.
