Beaver Wins First PSUAC Match

On Monday, Sept. 15 the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions volleyball team celebrated their first PSUAC win of the season when they hosted and defeated Penn State DuBois, 3-0. 

Beaver took the match with sets of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-17.

Sophomore Heather Sandusky (New Brighton, PA) recorded 12 kills, junior Jen Hain (Pittsburgh, PA) had 15 assists, and sophomore Brittany Clair (Cranberry Twp, PA) led with 5 digs and aces.

Beaver is 1-1 in the PSUAC and 3-7 overall. Their next game is at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18 when they host Chatham College. On Saturday, Sept. 20 the women resume PSUAC play when they host Penn State New Kensington at noon.
