Monaca, Pa - Women's Soccer was back playing on home field taking on Penn State Hazelton. The Lions have not had it easy this season only having one win and seven losses. Today's game was one to watch, but by the end Beaver did fall just short. Hazelton traveled home with a 4-3 win.

Beaver scored two goals in the first half. Third year McKenzie McIntosh (Uniontown, WA) scored the first goal for Beaver, but she did not do it alone. Third year Allison VanKirk (West Mifflin, PA) assisted McIntosh in Beaver's first goal. The second goal in the first half was scored by VanKirk unassisted. Hazelton also managed to score two goals this half, ending it with a tie.

The second half was not in Beaver's favor. McIntosh got her second goal of the game, and Beaver's third, assisted once again by VanKirk. However, this was not enough to overcome Hazelton. With just two minutes remaining in the game, Hazelton scored their fourth goal closing the game with a win.
