Front Royal, VA- The Women's Soccer Team was back on the field today taking on Christendom. This is the Lions second game of the season, and it proved to be another tough game for them. The Lions battled hard today against Christendom, but came up short in the end.
In the first half of the game, Christendom scored 7 goals spread throughout the half. Beaver was unable to get any shots which resulted in scoring zero goals. Beaver was able to play better defense in the second half of the game only allowing Christendom to score 3 goals, but they could not get anything on the offensive end. The Lions traveled home with a 10-0 loss against Christendom.
First year Kierstyn Mays (Sterling, IL) played in the goal the entire game for Beaver finishing with 9 saves on 19 shots, allowing 10 goals.
